No more abandoned pets !

Hi, I'm working at the RSPCA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals). If

I'm here today, it's because I have to speak about a serious subject : abandoned pets. Each year, 600

million pets are abandoned worlwide. In the USA, 6.5 million pets enter US animal shelters

nationwide, but 2.7 are killed because shelters are too full.

That's why you have to adopt our pets : millions of pets are waiting for you ! Adopting a pet

is like saving two, because it's leaving a place for another animal. But be careful before taking an

animal ! Inquire about the cost and be sure you can keep it. Don't take a pet if you're not sure that

you can keep it : the first reason why they are mostly abandoned is the cost.

So, if you bump into an animal that seems abandoned, bring him to us. Do a good deed !
